At OpenWorks, we take our people seriously — and that means we take the time and effort to invest in their career growth, training and happiness. One such example of OpenWorks’ investment in our people is our annual sales training at our corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. And when we say we invest in our people, we mean ALL our people. Every member of the sales team is included in our yearly training event, from Account Executives to Regional Directors to Customer Support Specialists, and all contribute to our continued success as a company.
For two full days, our sales team gathers from all across the country to hone their skills as salespeople and learn some new ones as well. From best practices to sales techniques, such as closing, responding to objections and adapting to different personality types, the OpenWorks sales team learns the secrets to success throughout the event.
The event isn’t all sales training, however, as employees have plenty of chance for fun and engagement with their peers. For many, this is the only time each year to see and interact with OpenWorks employees from all across the country, and we encourage our sales team to take full advantage of this exciting opportunity to share ideas and practices with their OpenWorks coworkers. Our team-building event at the sales training each year strengthens this engagement and encourages the team to have a little fun in the process!
And it wouldn’t be an annual sales training at OpenWorks without a little friendly competition! This year, our sales team participated in a fun video contest. Each employee who submitted a video during the trip received a gift card, and there were additional prizes for the top three videos. Sales training doesn’t have to be a bore, and we at OpenWorks work hard to bring a positive, fun and light-hearted experience to our sales team each and every year.
OpenWorks is deeply invested in our people.
