Phoenix, AZ (November 18, 2014) – OpenWorks, a national facility services company and commercial cleaning franchise, recently sponsored and participated in the 2014 Lincoln Guild Invitational. The John C. Lincoln Health Foundation holds the golf tournament each year to support the Phoenix-area Desert Mission community programs. OpenWorks was a tee sponsor at this tournament.
The tournament was held at Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale. More than 250 golfers teed off to support the efforts of Desert Mission – including a food bank, children’s dental clinic, child abuse prevention services, health clinic and neighborhood renewal. The tournament raised more than $150,000 for the organization’s programs.
“As a company, we always look forward to events like this invitational golf tournament put on by the John C. Lincoln Health Foundation,” says OpenWorks Executive VP David Bosley. “Sponsoring these events is a great way for us to show our support and give back to the community that our OpenWorks corporate office employees call home. We admire the goals of Desert Mission, and we are honored to have been a part of this community outreach.”
John C. Lincoln Health Foundation officials said they will be able to continue their important work through the generous support of the golfers and sponsors. “We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this day a success so we can continue to help the community,” said Marcia Mintz, CEO of the foundation.
