Q: What do you do at OpenWorks?

A: I manage all aspects of marketing for the entire company (corporate and all regions) on both the franchise and customer side of business, including existing customer databases. I am responsible for assisting our franchise specialist and regional directors in achieving our monthly franchise sales goals, as well as assisting our account executives and regional directors in achieving our monthly account sales appointments and sales goals. I am the main point of contact and manage the relationship between OpenWorks and our vendors, such as our SEM management company and public relations company. I am in charge of maintaining and updating the company’s websites and manage all company social media profiles and our online presence.

Q: Why is OpenWorks a great place to work?
A: The leaders at OpenWorks let you know you are valued and that your opinion matters. A big part of enjoying a career is enjoying who you work with every day and knowing that what you’re doing on a regular basis affects the company’s success.

Q: What do you like best about your job?
I like that my job is different every day. I don’t have a set routine of things I do every day in the same order, getting the same results. I get to work with and assist a large number of our employees, including behind-the-scenes tasks and working with our sales team to generate more appointments and additional leads.

Q: Are you excited about anything coming up?
Yes! I’m excited for our growth in 2016. I’ve never been part of a company with so much growth potential and detailed plans for the year that outline our expansion. It’ll be a first for me, and I have a huge part in helping our company expand from seven regions to 13 by the end of this year.

OpenWorks’ slogan is “Improving facilities and pleasing people.” What does this mean to you?
OpenWorks is not only in the business of maintaining our customer’s facilities but also improving them. We strive to make our customers happy, as well as improve their work environment to make their employees and their customers or clients happy.

Q: What would you say to people thinking about working for OpenWorks?

A: If you’re looking for a long-time career as opposed to just a job, OpenWorks is great! Career goals are set for each department, reassuring you’re not at a dead end, no matter the position. We are also a great company for recent college graduates, as we have a position tailored specifically for individuals that have just finished college.
