Survey: Boomers Vs Millennials in the Office

Millennials are more bothered by dirty offices than their older coworkers! In fact, they hate unclean work environments so much they might even quit if the office gets too dirty. A new national survey of more than 300 American workers ages 25-55 has found that baby boomers and millennials have very different opinions when it comes to office cleanliness and temperature settings. Check out the results below from a recent survey on boomers vs millennials in the office conducted by OpenWorks Facility Services.

Less Pay for Better Conditions

More than half (55 percent) of millennials say they would consider taking a little less pay for an office setting at the perfect temperature and cleanliness level. Only one in four baby boomers said the same.

We’re Not Gonna Take It!

When compared to baby boomers, twice as many millennials said they’d quit a job because the office was messy and unclean. Nearly three times as many said they’d quit if the office temperature wasn’t set the way they like.
