At OpenWorks, we value relationships and providing top-notch facility services. But, business will always come and go. When it does go you want to make sure you did everything you could. For us, that means never losing a client for cleaning related reasons.
Well, recently, our Chicago location had just that happen to them. That is, they lost a client because the client in question was closing their facility. Since they were still happy with our services, our very own Kelly kept in contact. She knew they were going to open brand new corporate headquarters pretty soon after closing the last.
Her persistence and relationship with the client paid off! The client decided to sign a brand new contract with OpenWorks for more than double the value of their old contract. As the client put it, it was an “easy choice” to come back because of our responsiveness and open lines of communication.
Our contact was also in “dire need” of an immediate start as they had their board meetings in the next week and the construction and move in had left the facility in pretty rough shape. Unfortunately, the franchisee wasn’t available to start until the next weekend. But since we value our relationships so much, our very own Chris was able to coordinate an alternate crew to come in right away. So we made sure the facility looked great for their first board meetings in their brand new facility.
The teamwork we embody resulted in the reacquisition of a client and some of the most positive word of mouth we could have from an old client. That’s what it truly means to work for OpenWorks since we make a real difference in providing facility services. Way to go Chicago on your Windy City success!
