As we approach the middle of 2021, there is hope of a return to “the old normal” on the horizon as COVID-19 vaccines become more widely available and more restrictions lift. Yet, many employees are still not confident about returning to work.

OpenWorks conducted a nationwide survey to understand consumer sentiment about workplace safety in regard to cleaning and disinfection. While employees’ confidence in their employer’s ability to create a safe workplace has increased, a third of employees say not enough is being done. In fact, 62% of employees want their workplace disinfected daily, which is an 11% increase from survey results in December.
