A typical day in my life includes…kickstarting my day with a strong, hot black coffee. Getting ready for work, while trying to rouse a 14-year old to get out of bed and get ready for high school. I’m usually at the office around 8am. My days are filled with meetings, conference calls, but most importantly, time with my team. It seems like I always have people in my office, which brings me joy, because I know it means there are things happening. A
fter work you’ll find me hitting up Orange Theory Fitness for 2-3 times a week, as well as cooking a great meal for the fam. I love cooking, having a glass of wine, and taking the time to digest the day. There is something so relaxing about putting on some music, and cooking. No text messages. No phone calls. No emails. My day typically ends with reading a book until I fall asleep so I can start the madness all over again.
I was born…in good ol’ Spearfish, South Dakota. A small town, with three stoplights and about 9,000 people on a good day. I grew up in the Black Hills, which are idyllic and picturesque. I’ve played soccer since I can remember and started skiing when I was 2.5.
Then I became a total rebel at 13 and started snowboarding. To this day it is one of my favorite activities! I miss the thunder and lightening storms in the summer, but knew from a career standpoint, I probably wouldn’t be able to achieve the goals I had in mind, so I moved to Phoenix when I was 19.
